How did you like those few days of glorious sunshine? It sure got HCH to thinking about fieldwork, fertilizer, equipment, and seed. Matt was busy with equipment, tractors and fence repair. We had a fellow drive his van over the edge of the road and through a pasture fence resulting in a section of rebuilding.
Lorren and Pauline were rototilling the garden and mowing the lawn. How do those cows remember the sweet taste of lawn clippings from last year? Add in loading hay for customers, moving a few heifers to different locations, hauling a bull to a new home and checking the flood levels, and you have a day or two of work in.
The beautiful sun left and those clouds and raindrops moved back in. We hope it is only a short stay for the gray days.
